Alkaline Diet – Eating Trend That Everybody Have Tried
Alkaline diet is quite different form the other diets for weight loss, because the primary purpose is the body balance and increased energy, then comes the losing weight, which means that you will never feel hungry or anxious.
This type of diet involves daily intake of 75% fresh food and 25% cooked food.
Acidic foods that you can consume in those 25% in the day are:
Meat: pork, veal, beef, tuna, poultry, game, crustaceans, shellfish, meat preparations, sardines.
Fruit: plums, pomegranates, raspberries, cranberries, cherries, pomegranates, pineapple, apple, peach, apricot, grapefruit, strawberries, currants, papaya, cherries …
Basic foods that must be consumed in those 75% in a single day:
Vegetables: onion, broccoli, onions, ginger, seaweed, potatoes, tomatoes, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, kale, coriander, carrot, fresh peppers, cabbage, lettuce, beans, pumpkin, watermelon, cucumbers, celery, artichokes, horseradish , radishes, beets.
Fruits: banana, coconut, figs, avocado, lime, lemon, orange, mango, pears.
Other: Seeds of pumpkin, poppy, chestnuts, linseed oil, coconut oil, olive oil, basil, frankincense, barley, oats, millet, soy milk, sea salt, green tea, apple cider vinegar.
Example for a daily menu:
Breakfast: omelet of 2 eggs, a slice of whole wheat bread, fresh tomatoes and 1 cup of ginger tea.
Snack: 1 banana and pumpkin hand.
Lunch: Vegetable soup, beef with cabbage salad.
Snack: Apples and handful of almonds.
Dinner: Grilled Chicken (150g) with cabbage salad or fish with salad.
As a supplement you can drink lemon juice every day but without sugar.
The distance between meals should also be 3-4 hours.
Physical activity is always welcome.
The alkaline diet is not an instant weight loss, or short-term solution, it has not yo-yo effect, but brings long-term results if you practice for a while.
