China has been known for its amazing cuisine and its great taste they are also known for their many products that are used daily in America. There are Chinese restaurants all over the world that has created a cult to the Chinese culture. Just recently , there has been many rumors and secret journalist that have shown the low standards that are in Chinese product and the truth about how cheap and manipulated the items are because of this companies are slowly putting a stop to importing Chinese items and good, they have a great reason why they have stopped as well.

Here is a list of 10 illegal foods (products from china) and we inform you not to buy them or think is it really worth to buy them? One never knows what can be in these hazardous goods that are shipped from another country.

  1. Imitation Eggs           

There are websites online that come with instructions how to make $70 a day by making and selling these fake eggs. The chemicals that are in the eggs are “Alginic Acid, Potassium Alum, Gelatin, Calcium Chloride, water and artificial color.” Even the shell of the egg is made of calcium carbonate. If these eggs are consumed they can cause memory loss and even dementia, which is a disease in the brain.

  1. Baby formula          

We are always trying to keep are children’s safe and out of harm but this formula can kill your children. According to CBS News in 2004, 47 people were accused of making this instant formula which led to count less children dying in Fuyang, China. The formula contained a substance like chalk, which led the children to have “ big head disease” this is a disease that effected their head and brain causing their heads to swell up as the body deteriorated.

  1. Tilapia fish             

A common fish used in America but might be one of the most toxic fish. Many people love fish or even eat fish to lose some pounds but is it worth it. Tilapia is really common to be fish farmed in china but did you know this fish eats just about everything. This fish is usually farmed in a small pool of waste. It’s a fish I would suggest you avoid purchasing or even eat, most Chinese sea food farmers won’t even let their own children eat the seafood they have farm isn’t that odd. Unfortunately 80% of tilapia fish comes from china.

  1. Chinese Apple Juice

Believe it or not approximately 50% of the apple juice sold in the United States came from China. China is the LARGEST pesticide producing country in the world and they haven’t even begun to address pesticide or chemical residue on foods. I recommend completely avoiding apple juice, for yourself and your children. Fruit juice is too rich in sugar and is better mixed with vegetable juice for your blood sugar levels.

 

  1. Mod Sold As  Black Pepper

A market vendor in China’s Guangdong Province collected local mud and sold it as black pepper, while their white pepper was mainly made out of flour. His excuse for justifying selling these fake items was that they “would not kill people.”

A facility in Zhongshan city, China made at least 5.5 tons of fake noodles. In 2011, people started complaining that what were supposed to be sweet potato noodles tasted strange. Further investigation led to a revelation that the noodles were composed of corn with an industrial ink used to give them a purple color, and paraffin wax.

Because pork is less expensive in China, some restaurants have sold it instead of beef – but not before they performed some chemistry on it. What they use are a beef extract and a glazing agent to “marinate” the meat in for 90 minutes.
